Revival.
You've got a lot of choices. If getting out of bed in the morning is a chore and you're not smiling on a regular basis, try another choice. ~Steven D. Woodhull

Of life a year on
If it's not challenging than maybe it's not worth doing, right? ~a friend
Hey world.
I know that it's been a while since I last wrote - More than a year in fact. I've just been caught up with work, friends, family, self and trying to find a balance in my life which I must say can get really challenging physically, mentally and emotionally.
They say we learn something new, each and every day. So as you can imagine, I have learned quite a sum within the last one year. Most of which I am finding difficulty in articulating into words. Some of which I am glad to have figured out and some of which... I am quite frightened/ scared/ concerned/ worried to have come to understand. Yea, quite a mouthful of feelings clearly.
I believe that it's not as easy as it sounds, to learn more and more about yourself, about what you've become and about what you have yet to accomplish. Growing up, is challenging. Life, is challenging. All we can do is to... to try our best I think. To try and cope as best as we know how. To come out of it stronger and most of all, happier.
I'm still trying to figure out what to do next, but as of now, I am content. :)

Dream by Patricia Ahn
I was a little girl alone
in my little world
who dreamed of a little home for me.
I played pretend between the trees,
and fed my houseguests bark and leaves,
and laughed in my pretty bed of green.
I had a dream
That I could fly from the highest swing,
I had a dream.
Long walks in the dark
through woods grown behind the park,
I asked God who I'm supposed to be.
The stars smiled down on me,
God answered in silent reverie,
I said a prayer and fell asleep.
I had a dream
That I could fly from the highest tree,
I had a dream.
Now I'm old and feeling grey,
I don't know what's left to say
about this life I'm willing to leave.
I lived it full and I lived it well,
there's many tales I've lived to tell,
I'm ready now, I'm ready now,
I'm ready now to fly from the highest wing.
I had a dream...

New York skyline by Michelle Villamin

I love this picture. Michelle took this picture from her sister's place when she went to visit her sister there recently. It's amazing how you can see the striking contrast between New York city and New York suburb. Beautiful. :)

Long awaited win

After a hard year this year with no wins, Fernando Alonso won the first ever Formula 1 night race - his first win this season! woohoo!! I am soooo happy. ahahah. I have always cheered for Alonso and I'm just so glad that he is still awesome. No doubt, he will not win the championship this season because he doesn't really have the most competitive car, but it was good to see him smile after that long awaited win. He did so well over the weekend for qualifying before the really unlucky engine meltdown. Then again, he was really good during the race and he pulled through. =)
Aahhh... till next time! Goodayy and goodnight! hohohoho! =)
